Our client, a legal firm, faced a significant challenge with the manual process of responding to interrogatories when representing defendants. This task was extremely time-consuming, prone to errors, and required a considerable amount of effort. The client sought to leverage AI to automate the generation of responses to these legal documents, aiming to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Our Solution

We developed an internal web portal that streamlined the client’s process for responding to legal documents, particularly interrogatories, but with potential applicability to other document types as well. Users could upload PDFs to the system, which then processed them through a multi-step algorithm. This algorithm parsed and extracted relevant questions from the PDF, pulled case data from the internal case management system, analyzed existing client data for matches, and used a trained AI agent to generate answers to remaining questions. The generated responses were then reviewed by the user for final adjustments before being exported to Word or PDF format for submission.
